Bucket Basket

 Join Ivy in making an adorable and useful "Bucket Basket". This is a beginner friendly class and still great for any experience level. The basket features a swing handle, solid bottom and color accents. This basket is as decorative as it is functional. Colored reed may differ from the photo on the website, depending on availability. 

TOOLS TO BRING TO CLASS: Water Container for soaking reed (size of an ice cream pail or a small storage tote) , Misting Spray Bottle, Pencil, Scissor, Measuring tape, Several Small Spring-Clips or Clothespins, Flat Screwdriver, Awl or Weaver’s Packer, Old Hand Towel, Needle Nose Pliers

Willow & Reed Basket

Make a fun ribbed basket from natural materials: wild willow and boughten basket reed.  The basket makes a lovely rustic centerpiece for decorations or can be used to gather eggs from your henhouse or carry your gardening supplies or produce.  Students will learn how to make a gods eye and do ribbed weaving.  No experience necessary. 

Students should bring an apron they don't mind getting dirty, sharp sturdy scissors and/or small handheld pruning shears. Since we will work with wild harvested willow and other materials you may want to bring garden gloves.
